The Leeds Open ran for its first year in 2010 and welcomed a huge number of fencers and supporters during its first year. Now established The Leeds Open aims to grow into one of the larger national open events on the British Fencing calendar.
We hope that we can continue to provide a new tournament for competitors not only in Yorkshire, but in the North-West, the North-East and UK wide.
The Leeds Open is located in Leeds city centre at The Edge, The University of Leeds' state of the art sports complex. We are fortunate to have AllStar-Uhlman UK providing equipment, and competitors will be able to take advantage of all the facilities in the centre including the pool, sauna, steam room, refreshments and sports therapy is available over the weekend as well .
